Okay, life doesn’t suck so much anymore.

Matthew’s comments 2 blogposts ago on my ‘worst day ever’ post really helped to put a lot of things back into perspective. Thank God for outside voices in the body of Christ.

In addition, several folk came alongside me and people apparently have REALLY been praying for me. The result is that my brain’s a little more settled right now and my heart’s a little better.

All in due time, this too will pass.

I have a few things to face head on (apply directly to the forehead!), so the time is coming near for me to set my face toward Jerusalem as Christ did with the knowledge of His impending crucifixion. There are parts of Kerry Gilliard that need to die before Kerry Gilliard can live.

Kerry version 6.0. coming in 07…..or whenever the development is complete. Just hope I get it done on time and not keep getting pushed back like Windows Vista and Leghor…er….Longhorn.

On another note, my emcee skills keep getting better. :) 8611 is going to be good.

I’m going to buy a new iPod. I think. Let me wait till after Christmas and consider it. My old iPod mini got swiped by one of my kids or I lost it. Insurance will cover it….provided I put out $250. What’s the use ? For $250, I get a new one. And a LARGER one too.

  1. I’m so glad that my little bit of rambling was a help during your struggle. Sounds like you’re dealing with some serious matters in your life right now; I’ll be praying that God will provide you with His discernment and judgment, as defined by those word’s use in the King James Version of I Corinthians 2:9-16; that is, that you’ll value everything in the same way that God does.

“Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is God; that we might know the things that are freely given us of God.” I Corinthians 2:12

If you’re at all interested, I actually preached a sermon on that passage … if you can overlook the delivery and take in the exposition, it may be of help if you want to think on these things further: (Title: “Making Good Choices”)

    Have a wonderful Christmas!
