So I get home this evening, my top lock is open.

I open the door, looks like someone tried to take my Zip 250 drive and get on my computer (the ‘new’ one). Reason number 58970013478 why I like Macs. 🙂 They figured out how to turn it on, but couldn’t get in.

In addition, my digital camera and my mini-DV camera are gone.

I’ll admit – I didn’t respond very Christ-like on the voicemail to the property manager. 🙁

I’m a bit calmer now. I had to go back and read my own devotional that I typed up earlier this morning on Christian Soul Food.

Ouch.

Buncha small attacks.

Oh, let’s add to it: one of my producers gave me a new track today. I liked it so much, I started thinking of what I was going to write for it – and I figured it would be something on the Providence of God in all things and circumstances. I should’ve known something was coming because my day and my evening went TOO perfect.

Right now, I’m still a little ticked (okay, a LOT ticked…. I’ll be staying home from work tomorrow and changing my top lock) at all of this, but I’m also realizing that once I learn how to respond right, it’ll stop happening.

Think about it.

A kid stole my 4GB iPod mini back in early November (I even think I know which kid did it…).

Lost a relationship I really thought was going to work.

Had the whole apartment-left-open by maintenance thing happen already.

Grandmother has a stroke on Christmas Eve AND I have a paper due the same time.

Site got hacked on Friday. (yes, theo correct dot com got hacked on Friday…..found out in the evening…which cut into schoolwork time…which had a cascading effect…)

Ravens lost to Indianapolis.

Behind and trying to catch up on school work as well as behind on the next Thinking Biblically Podcast and I’m too tired to think and type.

Lord, let me not attach my heart to things, no matter how much I pay for them.

Lord, let me not attach my heart so much to people that I feel anger and frustration when they are taken from me!

Lord, help my attitude to change from that of anger and wrath to humility.

Lord, forgive the reaction of my mouth on my property manager’s voice mail.

Sweet pain, blessed irritations, drive me closer to my Savior and not to things!

    Hi Kerry,

I haven’t been in touch with you in a few years…I’m praying for ya right now though.

I do visit TCDC sometimes to get insight/perspectives for theology homework

Today I thought I’d visit TCDC to see if you all had any
stem-cell research discussions, but I didn’t get past the New Year’s
article…. God help me! I had to stop and ask for forgiveness.

I wish you the best in your endeavors in 2007!!!

I still belive that you should come and visit Christ the King
Bible Fellowship in the State of Washington (CKBF.org) sometime in the

    future.

Our worship arts ministry is still struggling with many things…ie finding consistent leadership, finding a balance to serve a multi-cultural, multi-generational young church (7yrs old) etc., etc.

Would you be up to teaching anything in the topic areas
    of….Worship as a lifestyle–the importance of knowing &
living out God’s Word….with a special emphasis for those
serving in music or worship arts ministries OR the true costs
& blessings of leadership as it relates to are roles as servants in in worship arts ministry? If we become more God focused….we’ll get good instructions on which direction to take. I believe that you have the right background & bible knowledge to barrier bust. I’ll be in touch.

    Your Soror,

    Kimberley M. Brazier
