Classes are back in session.

EDU 521 seems to be all about squeezing the maximum amount of work into the least amount of time.

Dr. VanGemeren preached at our church this morning. You can hear the sermon here:

“Living in Light of the Resurrection”

He told me (prior to the start of the sermon with his trademark accent): “Kerry, be sure to listen carefully to the sermon. It’s applicable to you, but not directed to you, but to everyone.” and he put his hand on my shoulder.

We had a good talk afterward. Dr. VanG has a LOT of wisdom and knowledge. One day I may share the contents of that convo. I don’t know if he’s right on the advice he gave me. I do know that once I told him about my upcoming personal changes, he agreed that I needed to focus there first before doing anything else life-changing-related. Beyond that… well… we’ll see.

Perhaps his words (and some others I’ve read) were meant to confirm something I’ve been praying about recently in regard to wisdom.

Yes, I know I sound real cryptic right now.

Since you’re reading, just pray for me to make wise and sound decisions. And for God to continually send men and women my way with godly advice.

Time to set my face toward Jerusalem.
