Wow! It’s amazing that people today do not believe in divine miracles of healing. I have spent the last 20 years as an RN and have seen some documented miracles, as in pre and post MRI’s and CT’s.
One particular woman was diagnosed with colon cancer which was on her pre-biopsy CT. She went and had her Baptist (not Pentecostal) church to pray for her and when the second scan for biopsy marking was scanned, no tumor.
Let God out of His box that you have him in.

I just don’t believe in name-it-claim-it theology.
God heals when it’s for His highest glory and for the greatest good of the person in question.
If anything… the teaching that you must ‘confess’ something or another in order for it to work is putting God in a box made with human hands.
But typical – don’t deal with the above and simply try to change the subject or ignore the force of the obvious.

I would somewhat agree with your statement about name-it-and-claim-it theology. I do not think that we can control God with our own words. However, many take a broad brush and totally do away with miracles and literally keep God in His Box.
I clearly understand the sovereignty of God and that He has ultimately has control. But for some reason James slipped a line in his little post card about calling for the elders of the church. We still do that. . . . and the Book still works.
