The lovely Miss Meeky is doin’ up my writing schedule right now. God has gifted her with the gift of helps/administration and me with the gift of disorganization and procrastination. I absolutely irritate her to no end sometimes, but she’s a wonderful and beautiful woman and God has blessed me more than I deserve by allowing her to be a part of my life. 
Anyway, that’ll get done soon and I’ll start giving previews of ‘what’s next’ here on the blog.
I can tell you immediately that the next two topics will be a 3-part series on The Nature of the Church and Worship. It’ll serve as a 4-pronged response to both the supporters of “That 70’s Church” and others who are intent on making the church look as world-like as possible as well as a LONG overdue respectful response to comments from Nate in the last R.A.T.S. rant I had on here, mainly in the area of exclusive psalmody (which I don’t have a problem with as long as you don’t try to make it mandatory across the board and treat everyone else as sub-Christian). One thing that I absolutely DO agree with the EP folks on is this: The proper worship of God is NOT a matter of personal preference. EP folks have it right on point when they mention that God does lay out in scripture how He wants folk to worship Him and that when folk try in scripture to do it ‘their way’, they usually end up dead.
The other topic will cover Biblical interpretation and the authority of scripture. This one will probably be a 2-3 parter. I’ll know as soon as my sweetheart sets my writing schedule up.
On another note, I, like most folks on the east coast of the US, had to deal with having our own personal SUN sitting inches away from our foreheads this past week. 99 degrees with 78 % humidity feels like 107 and sapps your strength before you’ve even done anything major.
All I know is, earlier today when my Pastor and I were in DC at the National Cathedral (Anglican), the temperature on a clock on a bank nearby said 105. The official high was 101. Even with AC, your strength is sapped.
Oh yeah, I visited the Washington National Cathedral today. I have a new respect and appreciation for Anglicanism.
