My youth was spent in a casual Christian, experience-driven Charismatic atmosphere, and my thought on Doctrine was that it only succeeded in dividing Christians from their real focus. I didn’t think Jesus cared about what you thought about Him or what you were doing, as long as you loved Him, and loved Him with all your might. These verses still cause me to shiver.

Brian came into my life four years ago, and through him, God showed me two verses that literally scared the Hell out of me. Thank you Brian, for showing me these verses, and for rocking my world out of deadness.

Matthew 7:21-23
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’”
