My dance partner has decided not to continue our discussion, but she still keeps coming back with small comments.

Eh. No biggie. It’s given me an opportunity to solidify my thoughts on some issues regarding Biblical interpretation, so even in this, she’s been a help to me (though she doesn’t know it). One of her last comments to me was that I was full of it. I told her “thank you! that’s the nicest telling off I’ve gotten as of late. Usually folk show more of the condition of their hearts when responding back to me. Thank you for showing restraint.”

On another note, I found a very interesting blog (someone from ODB posted a link to it).

PostSecret is an ongoing community art project where people mail-in their secrets anonymously on one side of a homemade postcard.

Very VERY interesting blog. Warning: there are drawings that depict mild nudity in 2-3 of the graphics there. So if one or two nude drawings turn you on, I’d not visit. (there are literally 1-2…)

But the comments are very telling of the condition of the human heart. Some are quite funny…. others are quite sad.

The sheer rawness of this site might really get to you after a while. But while you’re visiting, you might wanna send up a few prayers for some of these folks. Our theology, in theory, sounds and looks cut and dry. And while a lot of it IS cut and dry in real life, we need to know HOW to integrate it into our real life so we can properly communicate God’s message of mercy in the cross of Christ to folks like the ones who sent in these cards.

There’s a few dozen more things for me to blog on…. and I’ll address them one by one later 2day and 2morrow and so forth. I’m off to go get the main site updated.
