Today….

It’s Bowie’s homecoming. I’m heavily thinking about comin’ through. It’s a cool, crisp fall Saturday morning – band and football weather. Some of me wants to be around people today and ‘feel good’…. and being at Bowie always makes me ‘feel good’.

I have music to finish picking out and a phone call to make. In fact, I have an entire apartment to re-arrange. I’ve been out of my apartment for a week now (in the guest apartment) and just moved back in last night. I absolutely LOVE my new bathroom (completely new) and new kitchen (everything’s new except the fridge and dishwasher – and they even installed an auto-ice maker in the freezer). Now, I just have to put my apartment back together….more work.

I’m realizing that one of the by-products of saved-unsaved relationships is a growing suspicion and inability to trust. Hell, that’s that product of any relationship that ain’t on the up and up prior to marriage.

I need to set up my grade book online and on my computer. Maybe I’ll go out to Panera later tonight and just relax.

Going through one of my usual lonely phases. I’ll be glad when church gets here 2morrow. I love my church family. I might call somebody up today and go visit or something.

I’m going to be a semi-old father. I’ve backed off – if I get my 3 kids, I’ll be happy. I want to be married in the next two years. I want to have my credit cleared up by 37 so I can buy a house.

I think I’ll stay in for a while today and get this house cleaned up. Thank God for MacArthur and my iTrip, so I can broadcast on every radio on the house while I work.

You’ll notice that my wireless DSL modem is the FIRST major thing I’ve hooked back up since I got home.

I have at least three ‘backed up’ blog posts I need to get to.
